Where to Fish Tunnel Lake


This small 14 surface acre lake near the mouth of the Sun Canyon on the Rocky Mountain Front provides a unique fi shery for Westslope Cutthroat Trout and Arctic Grayling, both species native to the Sun River drainage. The Cutthroat Trout found in the lake are stocked from the Washoe State Fishery Hatchery in Anaconda, while the Grayling are transplanted from a most unique population found in the Sunnyslope Canal about six miles east of the lake.
