Where to Fish Weasel Lake #48


There are 7 Lakes in the chain. Two have fish. #48 has a self-sustaining CT population and #51 is planted every 8 years at 50/acre. #48 aka Weasel Creek lake #2. No planting records exist for #48. Aka Chippy Lakes. Aka west Chippy Creek. Scenic place but access is not a cake walk! '95 fish were in average condition. '02 fish were angled and very thin.

Directions Hike Up Trail #18 along great Falls Creek, then south x-country thru saddle. Then side hill up the valley to the lakes.
