Rotenone project to remove brook trout from 2007-2009. Outlet flows into Goose Creek which has excellent spawning gravel and permanent flows. Fish can probably move between Goose Creek and the lake at high flows. The inlet stream from Jeff Lake has excellent spawning gravel and flow. In the 2013 survey 13 of the 18 sampled fish were sampled using angling.

Directions Mutt is accessible from the Goose Lake Jeep Trail. Outside the a-b wilderness.
