Mount Jumbo WMA is part of larger complex of conservation lands owned by the City and US Forest Service and managed collectively as the North Zone of Mt Jumbo. This area is important winter range for elk.
  1. Mount Jumbe WMA is 118 acres and opens on May 1st. Mount Jumbo WMA is managed as part of the North Zone of Mount Jumbo. This is important winter range for elk and is popular with recreationists in the late spring, summer, and fall. No motorized vehicles allowed.
