  1. Isaac Homestead WMA was initially purchased in 1969, with additional purchases in 1970 and 1973. The primary management goal for the WMA is to provide hunting opportunity for white-tailed deer, pheasants and waterfowl. Other hunting opportunities on the WMA may include mule deer, sharptailed grouse, turkey and occasionally antelope. Walk-in hunting from county road, WMA access road and via the Yellowstone River.

Directions:
Located in Treasure County midway between Miles City and Billings, approximately 7 miles west of Hysham. Take Highway 311 from Hysham west for about 6 miles across the Yellowstone River bridge, proceed north on gravel by following the WMA signs.
