Where to Fish Dryad Lake


1440 gt's planted in '82, 765 in '91. The '91 plants were age 0 and 1 fish. '01 net set for 19.5 hours. Long hike from anywhere. Glen Owens 7/99 found no goldens. Replant when possible. Decent food base, some shrimp and lots of aquatic insects. Nice Lake. No spawning potential in the outlet - all large rocks 1 foot or better in diameter. Deep inlet stream has decent potential. It is sandy with some gravel. '94 fish in good general health. Stomachs full of shrimp.

Directions Access difficult. Headwaters of Flood Creek. Hike on trails to lake surrender then x-country southeast 1.5 miles.
