Upper Twin Lake is a mountain lake located in North Meadow Creek drainage in the Tobacco Root Mountains.

| Directions: | Take South Meadow Creek County Road#29 from HWY 287 near McAllister. Then turn onto North Meadow Creek Road#31, at the forest boundary the county road becomes FR#160 proceed to FR#965 until it ends. From there take Trail#340 which takes you to the lake. |
| Status of the Fishery: | This lake contains wild self-sustaining populations of Brook Trout, Rainbow Trout and Yellowstone Cutthroat Trout and hybrids. FWP last sampled the lake in 1998 and the fish ranged from 9.0-11.2 inches in length. |
