Ram Lake


Ram lake has been a self sustaining cutthroat fishery since it was last stocked in 1983. It is a tough lake to get to, Pat Marcuson says "it hurts to get there." MTFWP sampled in 2018 with netting and angling and found good numbers of average sized fish.

Directions Headwaters of Chicken Creek, a tributary of west rosebud creek west of west Rosebud Lake. No Trail exists. Tough x-country. Start hiking up West side of Chicken Creek, then over the boulders up to Ewe Lake.
