Where to Fish Chrome Lake


Relatively easy access via Benbow Road. Large shrimp (1") and many leeches present. No GR caught in last two samples. In 2008 both species seemed to be doing well. Will continue stocking both species.

Directions: Reached via the benbow mine road. The lake is outside the absaroka-beartooth wilderness. Marginal for 2 wheel drives. Advisable to walk down.
