True native cutthroat. CT from wounded Man Creek can move into the lake. ****must protect this fisheries native status**** Very good spawning area in inlet. Good elk country. '95 - fish were thin to fat. Fish as small as 2" observed. '02 fish were fat. Peace and Heather are the only known indigenous (native) Yct Lake populations in region 5. 2012 FWP survey caught 10 net set 4 hrs. Genetic samples taken. 1 Col. Sp. Frog seen.

Directions At lake abundance Take Trail #24 down the Stillwater to Trail #34 up Horseshoe Creek past lake of the woods. Cross divide past peace then n up creek.
