Trophy fishery is the goal here. Poor spawning grounds. 8-year cycle at 50/acre. Leave as is. Good fishery potential, lots of feed, but no fish left from the '77 plant.
Access is 'very' difficult. Use by fishermen would be very limited. Little sign of use. The outlet of the lake is burned. '97 fish weighed 2.3 lbs. Lots of caddis. '90 gill net set for 5 hours by volunteer crew.
Ralph Saunders 9/5test6/04 - 10 hours each way with 25lb packs. Treacherous - burned downfall with thick regrowth. Jump log to log. Will get worse before better. Weird 14" CT's - blood red, high fat. Survey at some future date.
