Jackson Lake

Jackson Lake is found in the Wisconsin Creek Drainage in the Tobacco-Root Mountains. The lake is man-made from back in mining times. The banks are forested with some areas of large boulders. There are signs of human impact, and human traffic is moderate.

Elevation:	8895.36 ft
Directions:	From Highway 287, turn onto County Route 64. Stay on County Route 64 and it turns into USFS Road 157. Stay on USFS Road 157 and veer right on Trail 6307. Stay on Trail 6307 to Jackson Lake. An off-road vehicle is necessary to get all the way to the lake.
Status of the Fishery:	Jackson Lake is on a four year stocking rotation and there have been no signs of natural recruitment. Only three Westslope Cutthroat were sampled in 2018 with an average size of 12 inches.
