Directions: | Start at the Rock Creek trailhead. Follow that trail until it connects with Smeller lake trail which involves fording Rock Creek. Follow the trail up Smeller Creek, climbing until you reach the lake. You must cross private land to access the trailhead. |
Status of the Fishery: | In August of 2014 an FWP crew sampled the lake using a gill net. Yellowstone cutthroat trout were the the only fish present. The average size of the fish in that sample was 12.8 inches. |
