Where to Fish Shelf Lake


This lake usually produces nice fat brookies. The 2019 sample obtained with angling and netting was no exception.

Elevation: 10187.68 ft
Directions: 3 miles from the end of the Glacier Lake (rock Creek) road. Leave Glacier Lake Trail .25 miles after foot bridge and head north up the ridge on the west side of the creek. There is a trail that is fairly steep and has some downed timber.
