Where to Fish Line Lake

Line Lake


The lake can produce large fish and access is fairly easy. Yellowstone Cutthroats have been planted every 4 years since 1987. Lake shows heavy use, with much of the grass along the shoreline trampled. Water turbid, brownish. MTFWP sample in 2018 caught no fish. The 2015 plant may have been missed. The 2019 plant was moved up to 2018.

Directions The lake is 2 miles east of Hwy 212 at the MT-WYO state line. Not actually on main Line Creek drainage.
