Knox Lake

Large mountain lake with a spring inlet and very deep bay located on northwest part of the lake. Cerulean in color. Outlet connects to upper Bear Creek. Mostly open shoreline allows for easy fishing access.

Elevation:	8478.8 ft
Directions:	Use Bear Creek trail head. Take trail #64 four miles to the lake. The trail is in good shape and well maintained.
Status of the Fishery:	In 2017 a FWP crew sampled the lake and found Brook trout. The average size of the fish was 7.4 inches.
