The lake sits in a open cirque and provides a very good angling opportunity for brook trout. The lake is fairly shallow.

Directions Start at the Bear Creek trail head. Hike the Bear Creek Trail #64 five miles to the lake. The trail is in good shape and well maintained.
Status of the Fishery Brook trout caught average 8 inches in length.
