Status of the Fishery: | Rat Lake supports a wild self-sustaining population of Rainbow Trout and Yellowstone Cutthroat Trout hybrids. Stocking Rainbow Trout ceased in 1989. There was a one-time stocking of Yellowstone Cutthroat Trout in 1980. Rat lake has been prone to periodic winterkills. |
