Largent Bend Pond # 3

Located across the sun river from the Largent Bend FAS.

Waterbody Information

Size:	20.86 acres
Elevation:	3375 ft
Directions:	From Great Falls and I-15, take Hwy 200 west approx 12 miles to Largent Bend FAS sign. South of Sun River.
Status of the Fishery:	An abundant population of adult crappie exists in Pond #3 ranging from 8 to 13 inches long. In addition to a the crappie fishery, a small number of Tiger Muskie were stocked in Pond #3 in 2013. Tiger Muskie, are a sterile hybrid of Northern Pike and muskie, and were stocked as a management tool to reduce the number of suckers in the pond. The stocking has also provided an additional fishing opportunity for anglers to catch an aggressive predatory fish.
