Cascade Lake sits well above timberline in a narrow cirque basin that receives limited sunlight and receives very little use. It is no surprise there is very little use as the access is very tough.

Directions: Access is difficult. From half moon campground up over the ridge takes 5.5 hours. The outlet looks bad for access.
