Lone Elk Lake

Grayling probably drifted downstream from the sky Top Creek lks or from Rough Lake - none have been reported since 1973. Inlet has excellent spawning. D. Arneson 8/86 caught many 5-8" eb, no gr's. '73 netting - 7 eb ave. 9.1" 6.0-16.5", along with the two grayling listed above. '89 creel cards 14 eb <8". D Hagenston reports 6-8" EB's - average condition. Lots of average size brookies here. 2012 FWP survey 2 people angled 2.25 hrs.
