Ram Lake

Ram lake has been a self sustaining Yellowstone cutthroat trout fishery since it was last stocked in 1983. It is a tough lake to get to, Pat Marcuson says "it hurts to get there." MTFWP sampled in 2018 with netting and angling and found good numbers of average sized fish.

Directions:	Ram Lake is located at the headwaters of Chicken Creek which is a tributary to West Rosebud Creek to the west of West Rosebud Lake. There is no trail exists and it is a tough x-country hike. Start hiking up the west side of Chicken Creek, then over the boulders up to Ewe Lake.
