This lake is located in the Axolotl Lakes Wilderness Study Area and has produced large Grayling and Yellowstone Cutthroat trout in the past. There is very limited potential for fish to spawn in the inlet.

Directions: | Take the Axolotl Lake Road #42(located between Ennis and Virginia City) off of HWY 287. Travel on this road for about 4.3 miles and a short trail takes you to the lake. |
Status of the Fishery: | This lake has been stocked with Westslope Cutthroat Trout since 2012. Artic Grayling were planted in 1997,1999 and 2009. Yellowstone Cutthroat Trout were planted from 1977-1994. |
