A pristine alpine lake sitting at about 9,100 feet on the Custer-Gallatin National Forest. This lake is located within the Spanish Peaks Unit of the Lee Metcalf Wilderness Area.

Directions: The Deer Creek trailhead is located north of Big Sky off of highway 191. Follow Trail #481 approximately 6 miles to the lake.
Status of the Fishery: Deer Lake provides a unique opportunity to fish for Artic Grayling.
