Directions: | This lake can be accessed from the Beaver Creek Road FS#985, off of HWY 287 and north of Quake Lake. Use the Potamogeton Trailhead and take Trail#202 to Trail#201 which follows Sentinel Creek about 7.7 miles to the lake. |
Status of the Fishery: | Expedition Lake has been stocked with Westslope Cutthroat Trout since 2009. Prior to that Yellowstone Cutthroat Trout and Rainbow Trout were planted. This lake is on a 4-year stocking cycle, the last plant occurred in 2024. The last time FWP sampled the lake, the fish ranged from 8.5-12.2 inches in length. |
