Selway Lake is located in the Selway Creek Drainage in the Beaverhead Mountains.

| Status of the Fishery: | The lake was treated with rotenone in 2021 as part of the larger Selway Creek Native Fish Restoration Project. In 2024, 2000 grayling from three sources with Centennial Valley ancestry were stocked (2.5"). The lake will be stocked again in 2025 and 2026. |
