Peterson Lake, Upper

Upper Peterson Lake is located in the Middle Creek Drainage in the Snowcrest Mountains. It is located in the northern side of the Centennial Valley and grizzly bears have been seen in this area. Human traffic seems low other than during hunting season.

Size:	2.2466 acres
Elevation:	8360.72 ft
Directions:	From the North Valley Road in the Centennial Valley, turn onto Ruby Divide Road and follow Long Creek. Turn left onto USFS Rd. 9657 which arrives at the trailhead for Trail 6614. Follow Trail 6614 to the lake.
Status of the Fishery:	Sampling in 2017 in Upper Peterson did not find any fish. Yellowstone Cutthroat trout were stocked in 2018 and Upper Peterson Lake has grown large cutthroat in the past.
