Macaroni Lake is a small high mountain lake in the North Fork Indian Creek Drainage. It is found in the Tobacco-Root Mountains.

| Directions: | From Highway 287, turn onto Indian Creek Road near Sheridan, MT. This road will turn into USFS Rd. 158. Don't go Southeast up the South Fork of Indian Creek. Take Trail 6015 to Trail 6007. Halfway up Trail 6007, bushwack south ~0.25 miles to Macaroni Lake. |
| Status of the Fishery: | Macaroni Lake has not been stocked and is believed to be fishless. Future sampling will decide if the lake can support fish and should be stocked. |

| Notes: | Macaroni Lake is located at 8,310 feet in elevation and was sampled on 6/23/2020 and it was fish-less. This lake does not appear to be deep enough to over winter fish. More than half of the lake was full of dead pine trees that had been swept down a huge avalanche shoot that is located directly to the East of the lake. It is an amazing display of the raw power of nature. |
