Lillian Lake is located in the Hell Roaring Drainage of the Centennial Mountains. The lake is small, shallow, and susceptible to winterkills. There is an abundance of herpitiles including tiger salamanders, columbia spotted frogs, and garter snakes as well as ample insect life in the lake. The long hike does offer some great views of the Upper Hell Roaring Drainage.
