Directions: | Access to Gold Lake can most easily be obtained by taking the DeBorgia exit from Interstate Highway 90, west of St. Regis. Take USFS Road #236 (Deer Creek Road) southwest ~ 5.5 miles, then go left onto USFS Road #3818. Take this road for ~ 1.1 miles to the end (gate). Hike the gated road another ~ 0.25 mile and it will cross a small, densely wooded drainage. Gold Lake can be reached by hiking (off trail) up the drainage for ~ 1.2 miles. |
