Where to Fish Tiber Reservoir


Tiber Reservoir is second biggest reservoir in Region 4. It is a very popular Walleye and Northern Pike fishery that has numerous other game species to target. Boat fishing is the easiest way to fish the reservoir. It is a large reservoir that can become dangerous during poor weather so small boats should pay attention to weather reports before venturing too far from ramps. The reservoir is surrounded by BOR property and has six access points. There is established and primitive camping located at the Marina and VFW campgrounds near the dam. There is primitive camping allowed at the other 4 access locations which are North and South Bootlegger, Willow Creek Arm and Devon. There are pit toilets located at all the access points.

Directions: From Fort Benton, travel north on Hwy 223 for 39 miles. Turn left on Sec. 366. and continue for 7.6 miles.
