Directions: | Access to the lake is from the Hyalite Reservoir Recreation Area located south of Bozeman. Take the FR#62 to FR#3163 and continue to the East Fork Hyalite Creek Trailhead. |
Status of the Fishery: | This lake offers a great opportunity to fish for Arctic Grayling. The inlet to the lake provides great spawning habitat and because of this, the grayling maintain a self-sustaining population. Yellowstone Cutthroat Trout could also be present in the lake. At times, they are able to trickle down from the outlet of Heather Lake which lies above. |
